Odyssey

Seattle, Washington (2003)
30,000 Square Feet

This children’s museum had been open for about five years before we were brought on board to rethink its positioning. Stephen Brown led a multi-disciplinary team in creating experience overlays for Odyssey’s current exhibits. My role in the project was to design a limited number of interventions that would have the greatest impact on museum goers. The entry and interconnecting lobby were reconceived through the addition of theatrical elements, lighting, color, interactive displays, seating, signage, and of course cartoon characters.
