The Bar

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (2008)
2,750 Square Feet

After The Bar had been open for a couple of years, Leisure was brought on to rethink it’s market position. We worked with the owners to develop a new logo, signage and interior design that embraced the historic nature of Pittsburgh’s Southside. Our intent was to translate the traditional design of a Victorian pub into a venue for the neighborhood’s barhopping denizens. A parlor was created at the entry, containing overstuffed chairs, built-in seating and a fireplace. Beyond the copper topped bar and distinctively decorated booths, a pool table and dart area offer entertainment. When visiting The Bar, Leisure recommends sitting in the John Wilkes Booth and ordering a Tall House brew.
